At present, there is no open source server for this project. The Websocket map was designed for use on the GPS Tracking solution operated by Logic Ethos Ltd. This service operates out of multiple data centres for redundancy, and supports a multitude of tracking devices (Enfora, Teltonika, TrakM8, Android, Wireless Links, WinCE), and smartphones. The Websocket Map is just one of the ways of viewing the data using the JSON interface. A high perfomance Protocol Buffers & .NET DLL connector is also availabe.
There are plans to produce an open source demo server for use with the Websocket Map. The JSON messages are documented, so you can write your own backend.
